An image saves you thousands of words.

So use them for efficiency and clarity.

“Picture-Picture”

October 25th, 2009 · No Comments

It is possible to add a group of images to your blog. If you open a Picasa account on Google, create a new Album then upload some images to it, you'll then be able to embed the image Album into a post.
These are some old images I saved to Picasa from our Cattail Corner Blog:

I also added a Text (html) widget in my sidebar and can add the images there, too.

AlphaSmart transfer

September 8th, 2009 · No Comments

Mrs. Dorer and I just tried out transferring a small sample of writing to see if it would transfer to the blog. We had to wait enough time to get the keyboard communicating with the computer, but it transferred just fine!

This morning a student found me and wanted to show me the definition for the word "doppler". He was all excited about the physics that were involved. He carried over the huge dictionary in the classroom and eagerly read aloud the definition.
